Incident Info:

10/8/11 - Department 14 was dispatched for a vehicle accident with pin-in and fire. Chief 150 arrived on scene, reported two vehicles with heavy damage and a small amount of fire. A small sports car was traveling at a high rate of speed when it crossed the center line and collided with a semi tanker head on. The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. Extrication of the body took just under an hour. The driver of the semi was not injured. Crews were on scene doing environmental cleanup for several hours.
