11/12/11 - A brush fire in Millcreek required the help of the South County departments in the early morning today. Waterford was dispatched for a tanker and manpower to assist Department 44 as strong winds carried the small brush fire across a hillside. Waterford crews arrived on scene and grouped with Department 68 (Kuhl Hose) and Department 38 (Edinboro). This crew dug fire line and mopped up along the Southern and leading edge of the fire and contained it to the hilltop. Crews were on scene for about four hours.
