December 14, 2008: Shortly after midnight Waterford was dispatched for a motor vehicle accident on Route 19 South of town, near Moore Road. Mill Village was also dispatched moments later. When Captains from Waterford and Mill Village arrived on scene they reported heavy damage with heavy entrapment, a class 1 patient, and immediately called for a backup rescue from Edinboro. Upon further investigation, the patient was down-graded to class 5. A squad and rescue from Mill Village and squad 146 from Waterford continued in while Edinboro was put in service. Crews estimated slippery roadways and excessive speed as factors in the incident.
