August 6, 2008: Shortly before midnight on August 6, Waterford was dispatched for a possible structure fire on Tamarack Road. Seconds later, Mill Village was dispatched for a barn fire on Route 97. After investigating the Tamarack Road call and discovering only a high voltage wire down, Waterford was rerouted to assist Mill Village. Tanker 144 was the first to respond followed shortly by Engine 145. A defensive attack was being performed on the barn. Pumper 141 was dispatched to aid in water supply mid way through the incident. 141 drafted from a pond located at Troyer Farms and was able to fill six tankers before being put in service. Departments responding to the fire included Mill Village, Waterford, Union City, Edinboro, Cambridge Springs, Elgin, and Perry Hiway.
